To Be Free In North Carolina
For some of us, the approaching holidays means that we will be visited by our sons and daughters. Some will stay with us as part of their break from college. Others will be home on leave from their military service to our country. It’s hard to believe that they were once small children. We look at these burgeoning adults now and try to remember having to wiping tiny, snotty noses and bandage their little hurts. But here they are now, living on their own, and making a life for themselves. So let’s share a toast with them and laugh over silly things they did as children. Well, you can share that toast as long you don’t live in North Carolina.
As of yesterday, if you give that glass of champagne to your adult child who is under 21, the state can snatch your driver’s license away quicker than you can pop that cork. It doesn’t matter if you are all in the privacy of your home. It doesn’t matter that your young, responsible adults understand the importance of not driving after drinking. According to Craig Lloyd, the executive director of the North Carolina chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, punishing parents for celebrating with their adult children is not excessive.
If parents and their children are going to act irresponsibly, is there anything magical about the age of 21? Maybe the law doesn’t go far enough. Maybe it should be expanded so that 80-year-old parents can’t drink anything stronger than prune juice with their 60-year-old children! If they break this law, not only should they lose their license but a few layers of skin as well during a public flogging.
Isn’t one of the reason that our sons and daughters are fighting over in Afghanistan is to put an end to the draconian rule of the Taliban? It’s one thing for North Carolina government to legislate on issues of safety. But do we really need an American version of the Taliban in the privacy of our homes?
Oh by the way, it is now “unlawful to inhale fumes for the purpose of intoxication, or to manufacture, sell, give, deliver, possess or use an alcohol vaporizing device.” In other words, brandy sniffers are now contraband…

Wow, what a ridiculous rule! Luckily I don’t live in North Carolina, but if I did I think I’d go ahead and break that rule! Obviously safety is important, but there should be at least some trust there on the part of the state. People should be encouraged to act responsibly of their own free will, and not to alter their behaviour for a silly rule like that!
What I don’t understand is why… Why would anybody want to live in North Carolina to begin with? The place is a dump (for the most part). The people are terribly unfriendy, dominant, very territorial, inconsiderate, rude, loud and obnoxious. Funny you should mention ”driving”. That is one thing 99.9% of ALL North Carolinians should be FORBIDDEN to do. They drive like inconsiderate homicidal maniacs. Hit and runs are something you are beginning to hear about more in the news down here. I can’t believe these Carolina !@#$s think that is decent news. That goes to show how people are down here. Another thing you hear a lot on the news down here on a daily basis is one murder after another. I do admit the mountains are nice, but it’s only a matter of time before that goes sour.
Another thing I don’t understand is all the people who want to move here. North Carolina is SATURATED with snotty transplants most of who come from places like NYC and California. I have been reading the posts previously written here and noticed others have said similar things. Yes. North Carolina has become a retarded cross between California and especially NY(C). Another group of people from up north that LOVE moving here are ”Buckeyes” (people from Ohio). Everytime I go out of state, I have to hear someone babble about NC more than any other state. Really, one has to be an idiot to think NC is so great. Many people over here obsess over buying homes.
Speaking of buying homes… Why would someone want to do that (and in NC of all places). You have all these rediculous taxes on everything. Really, when one comes to think of it, the cost of living is equal to or about the same anywhere. I would much rather pay more and be happy than pay less and be miserable in an awful place SATURATED with all these fucktards. Fine, the natives are sick of this ”yankee” migration and I don’t blame them. They’ve come down here, changed the culture, and for the worst. Still there are many things the north has that the south doesn’t. This sorry good-for-nothing state should stick to being rural and quit trying to be all yuppie. If I want that, I go to the big city (which really does have more). Big deal! They ”have” all this stuff now. We had it up north 20-30 years ago. What did the south have 20-30 years ago? Still racial issues, more backwards countryside, etc. Seriously, that whole business of small towns with that ”urban” feel to it are messed up. Chapel Hell is just way too loud. At times, a big city is more quiet than this dump infested with college fucks and my sorry good-for-nothing piece of shit parents who brought me to this awful dump. At this rate, all the countryside will be totally eliminated b/c these uppity northern shits can’t stop moving here. All these demented Clay Aikens that live down here will then jump up and down and be even more, like, ”ooh! we’re the greatest state and everybody else sucks ass”. Look who’s talking.
Yeah, right! Their state has plenty. If their beaches are so ”great” then why do they always go to Myrtle these miserable-ass North Carolina FUCKS. If their state has everything then where are their oil refineries? If their people are so ”friendly” then why are they so bothersome, nosey, rude, inconsiderate, loud, obnoxious, etc? I don’t know about you but that is not ”friendly” to me. The ENTIRE Southeast region is to avoid like the plague. Seeing all these nauseating fucks down here is enough to drive someone insane, and they don’t need to say anything to annoy you. North Carolina fucks should not be allowed to leave the state. Not to mention pay rates are sucky down here too but I won’t get into that.
So, now you know. Avoid moving to NC at all costs. It is not worth anybody’s time and trouble. I will hopefully be moving out soon and I really can’t wait for that day to come.

So, Iabhornc, how do you really feel about living in Cary and North Carolina?
Could be worse. You could be living in other freedom loving states in the South like Alabama where marital toys are banned and South Carolina where it’s illegal to sell alcoholic beverages on a Sunday unless you are a Private Club.
Oh well. Thanks for visiting!
